The easiest way to apply eyeliner is to gently pull the eyelid taut and rest the brush or pencil along the edge of the lashline as you draw the brush or pencil over the lid.

Liquid eyeliner gives a strong, well-defined line. Try either the wand style products or use a very fine brush with wet eye shadow.

For a softer effect, use a kohl pencil and smudge with either your finger or a cotton bud for sultry, smoky eyes.
